January 2012
23rd Bent and Bongs Beer Bash

Thursday 26 to Saturday 28th
Formby Hall on Alder Street, Atherton, near Wigan, M46 9EY.
In association with Wigan CAMRA the Bent and Bongs Charitable Trust presents the 23rd Bent and Bongs Beer Bash.

Friday 27 January 2012 17:00 to 23:00 - £7.00
Saturday 28 January 2012 12:00 to 16:00 - £6.00
Saturday 28 January 2012 19:00 to 23:00 - £6.00.
CAMRA members £1 reduction on admission price.
The main charity beneficiary for this year will be the Marfan Association UK with other local charities also being supported.

Staffing for Wigan Beer Festival 2012
We require volunteers from Wednesday 29 February for set up, Thursday, Friday and Saturday to staff the festival and then volunteers for take-down on the Sunday.
If you can help in any way please volunteer. Even helping for 1 hour could mean someone getting a decent lunch break.
If you are not sure whether your skills will be needed contact the Staffing Officer whose contact details are on the staffing form.

2nd Manchester Museum Of Science & Industry (MOSI) Real Ale Festival

Organised by MOSI in conjuction with Trafford and Hulme CAMRA.

2nd New Mills Beer Festival- "Hills and Mills"
13th - 14th April 2012
Chalkers' Snooker Club, Redmoor Mill, Buxton Road, Newtown, New Mills, Derbyshire, SK22 3JT
The snooker club is very close to New Mills Newtown train station on the Buxton line (2 minutes walk) and the 199 bus stops
right outside. The 199 runs from Manchester Airport to Buxton every 1/2 hour, via Stockport and the A6 corrider.
This will be the 2nd New Mills Neer festival run by the High Peak and North East Cheshire Branch of CAMRA.
The opening times will be 12 noon to 11pm on both days and admission for all is FREE (returnable glass deposit applies).
The festival will be focusing on local micro breweries beers and is being sponsored again this year by Buxton Brewery.
There will be 30 firkins of beer and 5 ciders available and the festival is also supporting Blythe House Hospice in Chapel-en-le-Frith.
A list of proposed beers will be available on High Peak and North East Cheshire website in due course.
Food will be available throughout the festival.
24th Oldham Beer Festival
27th - 28th April 2012
Queen Elizabeth Hall, West Street, Oldham, OL1 1QJ
Friday opening noon to 3.30pm – admission £3 and then again at 5.30pm to 10.30pm – admission £4. Saturday noon to 4pm – admission £2 and 6pm to 10.30pm – admission £3.
£2 discount to card carrying CAMRA members at all times.
Over 60 real ales, traditional cider, perry and foreign bottled beers available.
There is plenty of seating, disabled access and with traditional food on sale at all sessions. Children, accompanied by an adult, welcome at lunchtimes. Proceeds to Mayor of Oldham’s Charity Appeal Fund.

26th Stockport Beer and Cider Festival

8th Chorlton Beer Festival
Friday 6th to Saturday 7th July 2012
St Clement Church, Edge Lane, Chorlton-cum-Hardy, Greater Manchester, M21 8DN.
The festival takes place in the grounds of the Church, with real ales in the church itself and cider, perry & foreign beers
served from the Scout Hut.

August 2012
ABC Festival
Altrincham Bottle & Cask (ABC) Festival is held over August Bank Holiday weekend in Altrincham's historic market hall.
Run by Altrincham's Le Trappiste bar in association with Trafford & Hulme CAMRA, the festival offers an excellent selection
of cask beers, traditional cider & perries and an unrivalled selection of the best Belgian and other continental beers
(many imported specially for the festival).
